Perennial Power Holdings is unique in the independent power production (IPP) industry. Perennial Power was established in 2002 by Sumitomo Corporation to invest
in independent power plants in North America and to facilitate Sumitomo's expansion in the global
IPP market.

Perennial Power owns, operates and manages power plants and provides power plant technology to
Sumitomo Corporation and group affiliates. Perennial
Power invests in power generating plants with limited merchant exposure and plans to acquire at least 2000
net megawatts by 2010.

Perennial Power provides technical and advisory services to power generation projects around the world in
which Sumitomo has an ongoing interest. Our services range from project development support to O&M
oversight to support the entire power project life cycle.

Perennial is actively seeking to acquire quality electrical generating stations in North America. Our current
fuel focus is on clean natural gas and compliant modern generation coal, but we are also investigating a
broad range of renewable and alternative energy opportunities on a case-by-case basis.
